Advocate Condell Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team with clinical and administrative duties essential to patient care. You will welcome patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers during procedures while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, 8:30 am–5:00 pm schedule, and a pay range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certification required, or 2 years MA experience, or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
