Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Medical Affairs in oncology. The role leads a field-based team, aligns disease state support plans, and drives budget and project objectives across the US. Strong leadership, strategic execution, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Remote work allowed with 25% travel; candidates should have MD/PhD/PharmD and oncology leadership experience. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus opportunities.

Competenze

• MD, PharmD or PhD with demonstrated ability to lead and coach scientific/medical colleagues.
• Strong communication, integrity, teamwork, and business acumen.
• Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and related guidelines for compliance.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and motivate in a changing environment.
• Oncology experience; field-based medical leadership preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead recruiting, onboarding, training and management of field-based medical professionals.
• Oversee performance management, coaching, and development plans for Oncology RMSD team.
• Communicate disease state support plans and ensure plan execution.
• Coordinate resources and ensure policy and safety compliance in the field environment.
• Support budget management for the regional team and expense review.
• Provide project management support to US Medical Affairs as needed.
