Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking an Acute Inpatient – Med/Surg Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment. You will work 3 days per week, 7a–7p with rotating weekends, and follow established nursing models to assess, treat, and educate patients.

Qualifications include RN licensure, Basic Life Support, and an ADN or BSN to be completed within 2 years, plus 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Formación

• RN with Acute Inpatient Med/Surg responsibilities and patient-centered care.
• Follow established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.
• Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure outstanding outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, proactive patient care and address requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up.
