Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking an Acute Inpatient – Telemetry Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collaborate with the care team to assessment, treatment, and education, following established nursing models and patient safety protocols.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS basics, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. The schedule is 3 days per week from 7pm to 7am with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• RN license with Basic Life Support certification (ACLS preferred).
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required within 2 years of employment start date.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond to patient requests promptly and educate patients/families about care plans and medications.

ASN/BSN (Nursing) or higher
