Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a Neuro Med/Surg Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on an acute inpatient unit, aligned with state and specialty standards and nursing models.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess patients at admission and on each shift, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families to ensure understanding and optimal outcomes.

Formación

• Current RN license in the state of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)

Responsabilidades

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, promptly identifying changes
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in the medical record; monitor therapeutic response
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures
