Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to support the 4 West Cardiac/Medical unit.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while upholding nursing standards and the State Nurse Practice Act. You will assess patients, develop plans of care, administer medications, and document outcomes, using IT tools to communicate and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or internal transfer.
• NIHSS within 6 months of hire or internal transfer.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to apply nursing process per standards and state law.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, collections).
• Maintain accurate patient charts and use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote patient safety, advocate for patient rights, and educate patients/families.
