American Oncology Management Company, Lone Star Oncology location, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to handle incoming patient calls, assess needs, and triage to providers.

You will review charts, discuss urgent issues with physicians, and coordinate referrals while maintaining privacy and compliance. This full-time role requires 1–2 years in hematology/oncology, CPR/BLS, and strong English communication; hours Mon-Fri, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• LPN Program Graduate.
• Unencumbered LPN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of hematology/oncology clinic or hospital experience.

Responsabilités

• Answers and reviews patient/caregiver calls using nursing assessment to determine urgency.
• Reviews patient charts for potential adverse events prior to discussing with the provider.
• Discusses steps with physician/nurse practitioner to ensure proper patient care and orders.
• Handles prescription refill requests per company procedure.
• Willing to work at multiple Company locations as needed and comply with privacy and IT policies.
