US Oncology Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide general nursing care per established standards. You will support physicians, maintain patient flow, and participate in treatment and testing processes within an oncology/hematology clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited school for practical nursing.
• Minimum of five years experience as a practical nurse in a hospital or clinic.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provides general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assists with equipment prep and aids physician during treatment, exam and testing.
• Observes, records, and reports patient condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
• Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination; screens patients for information.
