Job summary

Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IV therapy experience to assist physicians and RNs in patient care. You will mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents under supervision, obtain lab samples, document treatments in OncoEMR, and help with billing and triage calls.

You may travel to AON clinics as needed to support oncology services. The role requires CPR/BLS, valid state license, English fluency, and a driver’s license for clinic travel.

Qualifications

• LPN with IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license to travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Safely mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents under supervision.
• Assist in obtaining lab samples and processing specimens.
• Document treatment in OncoEMR and prepare superbill for charges.
• Telephone triage and respond to patient and family inquiries.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and dispensing using Nucleus.
• Attend mandatory safety/OSHA training and meetings.
• Work at multiple AON locations as needed to meet business needs.
