Job summary

Covenant Health is hiring a Medical Technologist in Oak Ridge, TN for full-time day shift. The MT will perform high complexity and routine clinical lab tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment, consulting with physicians on test results as needed.

The position requires Tennessee state licensure as a Medical Technologist with ASC P or NCA preferred; a valid Tennessee driver's license and required insurance are also needed. Some travel to related labs may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Medical Technologist in Tennessee (ASCP or NCA preferred).
• Current Tennessee Driver's license Class D with minimum insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity clinical lab tests.
• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling, analysis, reporting and record-keeping.
• Document corrective actions when test processes deviate; report results only after remediation.
