Job summary

UAB Medicine Infusion Therapy seeks an experienced ambulatory oncology nurse to provide specialized care for adult hematology and oncology patients in the Extended Care Clinic (ECC). You will monitor and intervene for high-acuity cases, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, high-quality care.

Candidates should hold an RN license (Alabama) and possess oncology/chemotherapy knowledge. Weekend AM shifts, 7:00am–7:00pm, with a pay range of $29.44–$47.10 per hour and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Alabama or eligible to obtain one.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• BMTC may be acceptable for specific positions; ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional ambulatory nursing care to adult hematology and oncology patients.
• Demonstrate specialized oncology/chemotherapy knowledge and skills.
• Coordinate activities of multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
