Job summary

Regional Cancer Care Associates in Freehold, NJ is seeking an experienced Infusion RN for a per diem oncology role. You will administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, IV therapies, and related care, while documenting in the medical record and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

The position requires current RN license, 2+ years in medical oncology, and ONS chemo/biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within a year, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• 2+ years’ experience in medical oncology preferred.
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification or willing to obtain within a year from the start date.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, antibiotics, symptom management, patient education, and triage patients.
• Provide and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Demonstrates competency in all aspects of chemotherapy administration, monoclonal antibody therapy, IV therapy, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Adheres to ONS and OSHA guidelines during adverse events and chemotherapy spill incidents.
