Regional Cancer Care Associates in Edison, NJ is seeking a skilled Infusion RN to join our oncology team. In this fast-paced role you will administer chemotherapy and related therapies, provide patient education, and document nursing care using the nursing process.

Compensation is $37.67 - $50.82 per hour and benefits are offered. Requirements include current RN license, 2+ years oncology experience preferred, BLS, and ONS chemo/biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within a year.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• 2+ years’ experience in medical oncology preferred.
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification or willing to obtain within a year from start date.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, antibiotics, symptom management, patient education, and triage patients.
• Provide and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Demonstrates competency in chemotherapy administration, monoclonal antibody therapy, IV therapy, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Adhere to ONS guidelines during adverse events (extravasations, infiltrations, spills).
• Document medical records in accordance with regulations and laws.
• Maintain environment of care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members.
