Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa is required.
• ACLS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• ONS Cancer Basics and Chemotherapy Biotherapy coursework required.
• ONCC certification within 2 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy and other outpatient infusions.
• Assesses patient needs and develops care plans.
• Triages patient calls and provides nursing interventions.
• Documents all outpatient infusion procedures accurately.
• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary health care team.
• Supports patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
