Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of Optum, seeks an experienced RN to support the Infusion Center in Houston. You will assist Hematology Oncology Providers and the Nurse Supervisor to ensure safe, coordinated patient care and compliance with standards.

Requirements include RN license, CPR/BLS, ALS or willingness to obtain, and 3+ years in infusion/chemo. BSN preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN required education.
• RN License.
• CPR/BLS.
• ALS or willing to obtain.
• 3+ years RN experience in an Infusion/Chemo setting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and daily operations of the Infusion Center per established standards.
• Support Hematology Oncology Providers and Nurse Supervisor in patient care activities.
• Maintain high safety standards for patients and staff.
• Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Nurse Supervisor/Clinic Administrator.
