Job summary

Allina Health Infusion Minneapolis ANW seeks an experienced RN to deliver chemotherapy and biotherapy for hematology/oncology patients. You will assess, educate, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include an RN license in MN, 1+ year ambulatory oncology infusion or 3+ years inpatient chemo/biotherapy/ICU experience, and EPIC/Beacon proficiency. Casual option with mileage reimbursement may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing required.
• 1+ years ambulatory oncology RN infusion or 3+ years inpatient chemo/biotherapy infusion or ICU experience.
• Active RN license in MN; ONS chemo provider card within 30 days of hire.
• OCN must be obtained within 3 years for those hired before 1 Apr 2024; 30 months after for others.
• Current BLS from AHA/Red Cross or in-house training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of chemotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care to hematology/oncology patients.
• Complete patient assessment and education; coordinate continuity of care.
• Document, monitor, and ensure safety per policy; participate in team collaboration.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients and support research protocols.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to promote quality care.

Call-shift employees may meet this requirement by working two shifts and one call shift per month.Job Description:Manages patient care infusion encounters by utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary hematology/oncology care team members, along with internal and external ancillary partners, in a fast-paced environment.
