Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Pharmacy Tech Specialist – Oncology to support preparation and distribution of sterile chemotherapy admixtures under a pharmacist’s supervision. The role requires precise drug preparation, documentation, and adherence to USP 797/800 standards in a high‑acuity oncology setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 6 months of sterile compounding experience preferred; oncology or hazardous drug compounding preferred.
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required; national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile IV and chemotherapy admixtures for oncology infusion patients.
• Handle hazardous drugs with proper PPE and containment.
• Assist with drug ordering and inventory management as needed.
• Support oncology billing and charge capture processes.
