MultiCare Health System's Cancer Institute in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Pharmacist Infusion Specialty Services per diem. The role focuses on prompt, accurate pharmaceutical care for patients, nurses and physicians, with emphasis on IV admixture and specialty preparations.

The position requires WA pharmacist licensure, a Doctor of Pharmacy, and BLS certification. Per diem schedule offers days with occasional weekends and minimum 36 hours every 6 weeks.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Mansioni

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintains appropriate records.
• Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work.
• Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service.
