Job summary

Qualifications

PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree required.
Active pharmacist license in NC or eligible to obtain within 6 months of orientation.
Experience in ambulatory infusion therapies or related specialties is preferred.
Residency in ambulatory care, oncology, rheumatology, neurology, gastroenterology, immunology, or related specialty is desirable.
Board certification or progress toward certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Educate patients, caregivers, nursing staff, pharmacists, residents, and learners on infusion therapies.
Conduct new-start patient counseling for biologic therapies across multiple specialties.
Serve as the primary pharmacy resource for infusion-related questions and issues.
Collaborate with Medication Access/Prior Authorization teams to facilitate infusion therapy initiation.
Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care and standardized workflows.
