Job summary

Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health seeks a Physician Assistant to provide patient care in the Infusion Center and Same-Day Cancer Services. You will manage IV therapies, toxicities, and oncologic emergencies under supervision of medical oncologists.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program.
• California PA license is required.
• Current NCCPA certification is required.
• ART certification or BLS/CPR and ACLS with commitment to obtain ART within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for oncology patients in the Infusion Center and Same-Day Cancer Services.
• Manage toxicities and reactions to IV therapies and triage oncologic emergencies.
• Collaborate with Attending Oncologists and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families and document care thoroughly.
