Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a capable Oncology Infusion Nurse Manager in Albemarle, NC. The role focuses on leading nursing practice and staffing in the Oncology Infusion department, ensuring high-quality patient care within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Minimum two years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates without BSN must enroll in BSN within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and complete within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication across shifts via staff meetings and huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state healthcare laws and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care quality and staffing needs.
• Delegates care elements to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
• Performs nursing care, assists with treatments and medications.
• Manages patient flow and staffing based on volume and acuity.
