Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Oncology Nurse to join our Pearland, TX clinic. This contract-to-hire role focuses on patient assessment, treatment coordination, and compassionate care in a fast-paced oncology setting.

You will work with providers to develop care plans, monitor patient status, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering exceptional service to patients and families. A Texas RN license and oncology experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• 3+ years nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• 2+ years oncology nursing experience, including exposure to chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
• Phlebotomy experience with safe, accurate blood draws.
• Proficient in electronic medical/health records systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition by measuring vital signs, histories, and medications.
• Coordinate treatments and care plans with providers.
• Document accurately in EMR/EHR systems and maintain records.
• Support with infusions, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy patient care.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and follow-ups; manage referrals.
