Job summary

American Oncology Network in Corpus Christi is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide safe, accurate patient care in an oncology setting. The role includes patient assessment, reviewing labs and vital signs, medication safety, dose verification, and triage as needed.

You will educate patients, document in EMR, follow JBIs, assist with inventory, and work across multiple clinic locations with potential overtime. Licensure, CPR/BLS, and hematology/oncology experience are required.

Qualifications

Nursing degree required.
RN license in the employing state or multi-state license.
Current CPR and BLS certifications.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between clinics.
Experience in hematology/oncology settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other agents per provider orders.
Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and treatment plans.
Document treatment in EMR accurately and timely.
Ensure proper charges per administration guidelines.
Provide triage and respond to patient calls and messages promptly.
Maintain inventory and assist with re-stocking supplies.
