Job summary

Insight Global in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in oncology infusion. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and manage patient needs and ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires a valid TX RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least 3 years of nursing experience including infusion and oncology. Strong documentation and patient education are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, valid in TX.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; 1 year infusion; oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
• Administer medications/ blood products with correct dosage and timing.
• Obtain pre-authorization and consent forms prior to therapies.
• Adjust dose by assessing patient, labs, protocol, and consult physician.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports and maintain central lines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
