Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Department Specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and maintains awareness of performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates the patient's individualized plan of care.
• Uses professional nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care.
• Manages patient assignment and delegates tasks based on needs.
• Develops a comprehensive educational plan for patient and family.
• Supports informed decision-making and advance directives.
• Continuously revises the care plan as patient status changes.
• Develops discharge plans utilizing community resources.
• Mentors new staff and facilitates their transition.
• Supports professional growth through precepting.
• Engages in departmental committees as needed.
