Edward Elmhurst Health in Evanston, IL is hiring a Collaborative Registered Nurse for the Kellogg Cancer Center. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with 4x10 hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.

You will provide patient-centered oncology care, guide care teams, and ensure safety and high-quality experiences. IL RN licensure, Associate's degree required, BSN preferred, CPR, and oncology infusion experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; ED/ICU/PACU experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for Oncology patients on the designated unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
