Job summary

The Center of Oncology & Hematology at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital is seeking an Oncology Infusion Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in our outpatient infusion center. You will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions while monitoring safety and treatment response.

We value education, emotional support, and teamwork with oncologists, APPs, pharmacists, and the care team. ONC/ONS chemotherapy certification is preferred and will be required after hire.

Qualifications

• Experience with infusion therapy in oncology is preferred.
• Strong skills in patient education and communication.
• Ability to monitor patient vitals and respond to infusion reactions.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions in the outpatient center.
• Monitor patients for safety, comfort, and treatment response.
• Collaborate with oncologists, APPs, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
