Job summary

Los Angeles Cancer Network in Pomona, CA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology infusion team. This part-time role includes direct patient care throughout the treatment journey, with responsibilities ranging from chemotherapy administration to patient education and support.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, ONS chemo/biotherapy certification (or within 30 days), CPR/BLS, and strong IV skills.

Qualifications

• California RN license is required.
• ONS Chemo/Biotherapy certification required or within 30 days of employment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Strong IV skills with port-a-caths/PICC lines.
• Oncology/hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in ambulatory infusion settings.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration, injections under physician supervision.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor during treatment.
• Maintain medication safety, documentation, and accurate EMR scheduling.
• Educate patients and families on chemotherapy, side effects, and care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
