Job summary

Los Angeles Cancer Network is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Fountain Valley, CA team. You will provide direct oncology care in an ambulatory infusion setting, administering chemotherapy and managing patient assessments and education.

Strong IV skills, CPR/BLS, and ONS chemotherapy certification are required or obtainable within 30 days. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule in California.

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse license required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong IV access skills for port-a-caths/PICC lines.
• Oncology/hematology experience preferred.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in ambulatory infusion settings.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration, injections under physician supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor during treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety procedures.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and potential side effects.
