Job summary

Cone Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Oncology Infusion Suite in Greensboro, NC. The role provides direct patient care across specialty settings with minimal supervision and supports strategic healthcare initiatives for the service line.

Essential duties include planning individualized nursing care, administering medications, managing vascular access, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Oncology-focused competencies are encouraged within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in North Carolina or a compact state.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Oncology specialty competency eligible within 3 months of hire.
• 1 year RN experience with 1 year in a clinical specialty (ANCC or national nursing organization).

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in assigned clinical settings.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans from patient data.
• Administer medications and manage vascular devices per protocol.
• Ensure accurate medical records and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team for care planning.
• Support colleagues through teaching and mentoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
