Job summary

Greater Washington Oncology Associates is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our oncology team in the Greater Washington area. You will safely administer chemotherapy and related therapies, review labs, assess patients, and document care in the EMR.

You will educate patients and families about medications, monitor for adverse effects, and perform triage communications with various care teams. EMEA familiarity and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents as prescribed.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and timely.
• Provide patient and caregiver education about medications, side effects, and treatment plans.
• Perform triage calls and prioritize patient needs with timely responses.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with OSHA/NIOSH guidelines for waste disposal.
