Oncology Consultants in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Infusion RN for full-time coverage. You will provide thorough patient care, administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies, educate patients and caregivers, and document all treatments in the EMR.

The role requires flexibility to travel between clinic sites and occasional overtime based on needs. Strong critical thinking, English communication, and experience with hematology/oncology patients are essential.

Qualificações

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, accurate and efficient patient care including assessment, review of labs and vital signs, medication safety, dose verification and drug administration.
• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care and non-oncologic agents as ordered.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and planned treatment course.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming calls and messages from patients, family, hospitals and offices.
• Assist with inventory and re-stocking of medical supplies and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with laws; participate in trainings; multi-site coordination.
