Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and health care providers with routine examinations and procure equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to the nurse or physician.
• Perform clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, look up information, verify orders, and maintain medical records.
• Provide administrative and clerical support including PI audits and data entry.
• Provide clinical support: clean work area, troubleshoot equipment, restock supplies, transport patients and specimens.
• Provide direct personal care per care plan: bathing, feeding, vital signs, wounds, catheter care, and IV tasks.
• Reinforce and document patient education materials.
