Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest oncology provider, seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our busy Longmont clinic as a hospitalist and to see patients in clinic throughout the week.

You will deliver comprehensive cancer care, collaborate with oncologists and nurses, and manage a dynamic schedule in a fast-paced environment. Competitive salary with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited nursing program with Nurse Practitioner certification; typically 3+ years of NP practice.
• RN licensure and current registration with State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PA path: accredited PA program with NCCPA certification and 3+ years experience.
• CNS path: MSN with CNS licensure and 3+ years of practice.

Responsibilities

• Hospital rounding and clinical evaluations with physician team.
• Order/review diagnostics and monitor medications; plan short- and long-term care.
• Perform procedures with minimal supervision.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide education.
• Promote wellness and connect to community resources.
• Document charge capture and medical records promptly; clinical trials support.
• Possibly provide case management for patients and families; support nursing staff.
