Job summary

Oncology Consultants - Memorial City in Houston, TX seeks a Full-time APP Hospitalist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide inpatient hospital medicine coverage. The role includes rounds, admissions/discharges, on-call support, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, APRN or PA license with prescriptive privileges, BLS, and at least 5 years oncology experience. Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state with prescriptive privileges or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years experience in oncology as APRN/PA.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounds on hospital floors.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.
• Provide on-call support.
• Assess patients with comprehensive exams and histories.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; tailor treatments.
• Document care plans and outcomes; capture charges.
• Communicate with admitting and referring teams; manage triage.
