Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Florida is hiring a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, demonstrating leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Candidates must graduate from a nursing program, hold a current RN license, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. BLS is required; ACLS if applicable. Prior Mayo Clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; experience working in a team environment.
• Current RN license; BLS/ACLS competency as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
• Provide leadership and quality improvement within care settings.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level and resources.
• Maintain BLS/ACLS competency as required.
