You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based cancer care within a collaborative setting and coordinate with specialists to optimize patient outcomes. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, thorough evaluations, and individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on education and support for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Washington ARNP or Physician Assistant license or license active prior to starting.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, patients and families.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive evaluations of oncology patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for hematology/oncology diseases.
• Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources.
