Job Summary and Responsibilities

St. Michael Cancer Center, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking an experienced hematology/oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves in delivering high quality, evidence based, patient‑centered medicine, and have a strong culture of collegiality and team decision making. We are expanding our care to the Puget Sound and look for a well‑trained, caring APP motivated to provide excellent patient care in Silverdale, WA.

Position Details

• Part‑time (0.6 FTE)
• Weekday shifts only – no weekends or holidays.
• 10‑hour shifts.
• Patient care includes treatment of oncology patients, acute/same‑day visits, long‑term follow‑up patients, and infusion room oversight.
• Approximately 8‑12 patients per shift.
• Opportunity to cover inpatient oncology patients when the dedicated inpatient ARNP is on vacation or time off.

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Washington State ARNP/P.A. license or an active license prior to starting.
• At least one year of advanced practice experience (ARNP/P.A.) working with Oncology and Hematology patients.
• Prior experience with EPIC is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, patients, and families.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Strong commitment to patient‑care team concepts and privacy guidelines.

Pay Range

$64.65 – $80.28 per hour (Guaranteed Salary Model based on ARNP/PA experience)
