Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Silverdale, WA is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our collegial team at St. Michael Cancer Center.

You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. The role requires completion of an accredited NP or PA program and active WA license, with 1+ year oncology/hematology experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers for coordinated patient care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Hematology Oncology Advanced Practice Provider, you will join our collegial healthcare team in Silverdale at St. Michael Cancer Center. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine. As part of our team, you will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists, all dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well‑being of patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, possessing expertise in your specialty and having strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient‑centered evidence based care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Work 8 hour or 10 hour shift on weekdays
• Be comfortable seeing 10-15 patients per shift
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of our patients
• Provide ongoing management and follow‑up care for patients with a wide variety of hematology and oncology diseases.
• Patient care includes treatment of oncology patients, acute/same day visits, long‑term follow‑up patients, and infusion room oversight.
• Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care
• Stay current with research and best practices in both Hematology and Oncology to provide evidence‑based care

Job Requirements

Required

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current Washington State ARNP/P.A. license or active license prior to starting.
• Minimum one year of advanced practice experience (ARNP/P.A) working with Oncology and Hematology patients.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and hospital staff, patients and their families
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines

Pay Range

$64.65 - $86.39 /hour
