Job summary

Catholic Health in New York seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support the Ambry CARE High-Risk Screening Program. The APP will conduct hereditary cancer risk assessments, interpret genetic testing, and develop personalized surveillance plans.

Working with oncologists, radiology, genetics, and other teams, you will ensure timely follow-up, coordinated care, and improved outcomes for high-risk patients within Catholic Health’s prevention and oncology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in NP or PA studies.
• Active NY State license as NP or PA with national board certification.
• DEA license or eligibility; BLS required.
• Oncology or genetics experience preferred; new grads with relevant training considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct genetic risk consultations for Ambry CARE participants.
• Review and interpret hereditary cancer genetic testing results.
• Develop personalized cancer screening and risk-reduction plans.
• Provide post-test counseling and disclosure of results via in-person or telehealth.
• Coordinate referrals to oncology, surgery, radiology, and genetics as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology, oncology, and genetics teams for appropriate care pathways.
• Maintain documentation and compliance in EMR; support program operations.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary discussions.
