Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Access & Reimbursement specialist to educate healthcare providers on patient support programs, payer policies, and reimbursement options within a defined territory including Atlanta, GA; Columbia, SC; Raleigh, NC; and Richmond, VA.

You will collaborate with oncology stakeholders to manage accounts and report payer trends, ensuring access and favorable reimbursement for AbbVie products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• HCIR credentialing requirements must be satisfied to gain access to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers on patient support programs and payer policies.
• Educate on product-specific access options including specialty pharmacy networks and buy-and-bill models.
• Collaborate with Oncology stakeholders for key account management and payer trend reporting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with providers within the territory; stay current on managed care and policy activities.
