Job summary

The PDSI will coordinate orientation, develop competency assessments, and utilize simulation-based methods to advance professional growth among the nursing team.

Qualifications

• BSN required with MA RN license.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience, 1 year in oncology preferred.
• Professional certification in nursing education or oncology within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates educational programs to support nursing staff development.
• Addresses clinical issues, competency development, and mentoring daily.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and collaborates with NPCS and other disciplines.
• Assists in orientation, staff education, and program evaluation.
• Acts as a clinical resource and consultant on policies, standards, and guidelines.
