Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the Outpatient Oncology team on the 1st shift. The role focuses on providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to cancer patients across outpatient settings, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

Under limited supervision, you will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized MNT plans, counsel patients and families, document progress, and participate in tumor boards and education activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field.
• 1 year of clinical nutrition experience; oncology preferred.
• CDR registration or eligibility; must register within 6 months of hire.
• Kentucky licensure or eligibility; must obtain licensure within 6 months of CDR registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide oncology nutrition services across outpatient cancer care settings.
• Assess nutritional needs and develop Medical Nutrition Therapy plans for cancer patients.
• Provide nutrition counseling and ongoing support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in tumor boards and ongoing education.
• Develop nutrition education resources and promote oncology nutrition services.
