Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an Oncology Registry Specialist to identify malignant and benign cases across our system for cancer registries in accordance with standards of the Cancer Committee and accrediting bodies.

The role supports data collection for cancer metrics and patient follow-up, ensuring accurate reporting. Required credentials include Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) and/or CTR, plus one year of registry experience and proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Oncolog y Data Specialist (ODS) credential and/or CTR credential from the NCRA.
• One year experience in cancer registry field or similar area.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identifies malignant and benign cases across the Northside Hospital System for oncology registries in accordance to standards.
• Performs patient follow-up and adheres to current reportability standards.
• Abstracts concurrent cases with limited information and supports data collection of Commission on Cancer metrics.
