• 2+ years cancer registry abstraction experience.
• Experience in a multi-campus health system preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of NCCN guidelines and Florida data systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and escalate clinical variability or documentation discrepancies to leadership for timely intervention.
• Track cancer patients longitudinally to maintain follow‑up and meet regulatory deadlines.
• Obtain follow‑up information via phone, physician offices, and written communication.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and a professional work environment.
• Participate in QA peer review and implement edits based on feedback and new information.
• Engage in special projects to improve quality and outcomes for patients.
