The role requires 2+ years of registry experience, an associate degree, and proficiency in EMR systems (CRStar, Cerner, ARIA, OncoEMR). You will participate in QA reviews, ongoing education, and HIPAA adherence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cancer registry abstraction experience.
• Experience abstracting cancer data with adherence to guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and escalates clinical variability or documentation discrepancies.
• Abstracts and codes patient data using cancer classification and coding systems.
• Maintains data quality and meets registry submission deadlines.
