Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Cancer Registry professional to maintain complete patient follow-up and ensure CoC compliance. You will update survival statistics, retrieve data from EMR, and support multidisciplinary cancer conferences with accurate information.

Responsibilities include attending conferences, tracking physician attendance, and entering data into spreadsheets while adhering to Mercy standards and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma.
• Proficient computer skills, detail oriented, medical terminology.
• Previous Cancer Registry or 1-2 years medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient follow-up per CoC standards.
• Update reportable cases annually for survival statistics.
• Use electronic medical records to obtain case updates.
• Assist with multidisciplinary cancer conferences by retrieving and sharing data for physician presentations.
