Job summary

Washington State Department Of Health—Washington State Cancer Registry seeks a Health Services Consultant 3 to lead oncology data quality and education initiatives remotely. The role emphasizes QA, education, and training aligned with national registry standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cancer case abstracting, coding, and consolidation experience.
• Experience applying national cancer registry standards and data requirements.
• Ability to develop or deliver technical training in a registry setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QA activities including case consolidation and edit error processing.
• Analyze data to identify trends and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Serve as SME on oncology data requirements and communicate updates to the team.
• Develop and deliver education, training, and mentoring on registry standards.
