Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of related experience.
• Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) credentials preferred.
• Experience with cancer registry data management applications (RegPlus) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of cancer data reported to the Central Cancer Registry.
• Conduct data-quality activities including case consolidation, visual editing, case-finding audits.
• Provide training and guidance to data reporters and Registry staff on data standards and reporting requirements.
• Design and run database queries to detect data discrepancies and support quality-assurance activities.
• Coordinate quality-control processes and communicate updates on data standards.
• Prepare written reports summarizing common errors and audit results.
