Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Medical Oncology Unit in Wisconsin. The CNA will care for oncology/hematology patients receiving chemo or radiation, and assist with other medical patients as needed.

Position details include 0.6 FTE (48 hours bi-weekly) with 8-hour night shifts (10:30pm–7:00am) and every-other-weekend plus three holidays per year. Starting pay is competitive with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to oncology and hematology patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
• Unit also cares for patients with acute and chronic medical problems.
• 0.6 FTE, 48 hours bi-weekly; 8-hour night shifts (10:30pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends and holidays.
